Reiki I Course
The course will cover the following topics:

– The uses and benefits of Reiki.
– The Reiki Principles.
– The History of Reiki.
– Introduction to Chakras.
– Inner child
– Gassho meditation – a grounding meditation that provides balance whilst working with the Reiki energy
– Byosen Scanning
– Reiji-ho
– Feeling energy and how you feel it.
– Kenyoku
– Hand Positions for self treatment.
– How to provide a full treatment upon yourself and how to adapt to others.
– Demonstration of how to provide a treatment.
– Practical exercises of giving and receiving Reiki.
– Questions and Answers.
In First Degree training you will receive your attunement. Your attunement is focused mainly on opening up the physical body so that it can then accept energy.
During Reiki 1 training, you learn how to feel energy and many practical exercises are used throughout the course.
You are also taught the general principles of Reiki and become familiarized with its history and roots. On a practical level, you will also be taught how to give a treatment, firstly to yourself and we will discuss how to adapt to others. Although as previously mentioned I have always felt that Reiki level one is more of a self awareness course that introduces and opens you to the energy that is Reiki. This part of the course assists the integration of the energy. I feel that if you are driven by a desire to treat more than just yourself, Reiki two will be a natural progression to develop the techniques that are more easily applied to others.
Following the attunement is a 21 day period called the cleansing period. During this time, you are encouraged to give yourself a treatment every day and many students find themselves undergoing positive personal changes and spiritual growth which can be a very powerful and very rewarding time.
On completion of the course, you will receive an illustrated Reiki Manual, a quick step start guide focused solely around the mechanics of providing a treatment to oneself, the First Degree Reiki Certificate as well as on-going support and advice.
The whole Reiki I course takes 15 hours (5 x 3 hours) and cost 280 €.
